近几年来,挤塑成型的聚苯乙烯板在世界范围内得到广泛应用,这种新材料内部为闭孔结构,具有优异和持久不变的保温性能、极强的憎水阻止水蒸汽渗透的能力、相当高的抗压强度、加工容易、便于安装等特点,是目前世界上公认的适用于倒置屋面的理想保温材料。
